Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren

Susanne’s Review:

The Kind of Love You Desperately Want to BELIEVE In.

Best Friends.  The Love of Each Other’s Lives.

The moment Macy Sorensen runs into her first love Elliot, every moment of their relationship flashes before her eyes and all of those old feelings come rushing back.  It doesn’t matter that she’s now engaged to be married.  No one compares to Elliot.

Even though it’s been eleven years, for Elliot, Macy has always been the one.  The moment he lays eyes on her, everything changes and he knows that his life will never be the same.

Told in alternating timelines of the past and the present, we see the friendship between Macy and Elliot blossom into everlasting love.  A love neither could let go of, regardless of what tore them apart or where life took them thereafter.

Devastating, Heartbreaking, Intense, Inspiring.

“Love and Other Words” is a storybook romance filled with heartache, loss and love.  While this book may only be fiction, it sure makes you wish dreams actually came true.

This was a fantastic buddy read with Ms. Kaceey that we both loved!  In addition, “Love and Other Words” by Christina Lauren made it onto my Goodreads Best-of-List for 2020 as my final favorite read of last year.

Published on Goodreads on 1.2.2021.

    1. Thanks so much Corina! I LOVED this so much! It was sitting on the shelf for years before Kaceey and I read it. Epic is a great word for it. I love that you loved it to and that you re-read it when you’re in the mood for something powerful! We are both quite excited to read The Soulmate Equation, do you have that one?
