Written in the Stars by Alexandria Bellefleur

Susanne’s Review:

Sparks Galore!

If you’re looking for a cute rom-com with loads of chemistry “Written in the Stars” fits the bill!

Elle is an Astrologist who has only ever wanted to find the right gal and settle down.  Unfortunately for her, she’s very unlucky in love.  Darcy is a high-powered Actuary who doesn’t believe in love or in having fun.  After being set up on a blind date by Darcy’s brother, sparks fly as do the drinks, and not in a good way.  Needless to say, another date doesn’t seem to be in the cards for these two, until Darcy fibs to her brother Brendon that the date was a success just to get him off her back.

Now Elle and Darcy find themselves in a “fauxmance” just to make a few social events more palatable, up until New Year’s Eve.

You can of course guess what happens next!  Why Love of course!  It is after all, “Written in the Stars.”  A clever, cute, sweet, and somewhat steamy read that was a perfect way to end 2020!  Although I had to skim through all the steamy parts, this was a quite delightful rom-com that I highly recommend for those looking for an adorable, light, laugh out loud novel that hits all the right notes.

Published on Goodreads on 1.6.21.
