Susanne’s Review:
“The Wedding Game” is EVERYTHING a ROM-COM Should be and MORE!
Fun, Flirty, and Sexy!
It was a little steamy if you want to know the truth (yes, this girl was blushing a few times, but aside from that, I loved everything about it!).
Luna loves her brother Cohen and his fiance Declan desperately and she has always wanted to give them the world. After seeing an advertisement on tv for “The Wedding Game” she has the chance to do just that. Now the three of them have a chance to compete on tv to give the couple a dream wedding and a penthouse apartment in NYC.
Alec and his brother Thad aren’t as close as they used to be. As kids, Alec took care of his younger brother and basically raised him. Now, Thad is asking that Alec become a contestant on “The Wedding Game” with Thad and his fiancee Naomi in order to help the two achieve their dreams.
When Alec and Luna meet, the sparks fly. Both are supposed to be on opposite teams, so what happens when they can’t fight their attraction to each other?
“The Wedding Game” is a light, fun rom-com with a great premise. It is filled with laugh-out-loud moments and witty, sexy banter, both of which I love and think of as the perfect recipe for romance. The end of the novel got a little too steamy for this gal and had me covering my eyes and skimming through the fiery bits, but other than that, I’d say this was one of the best rom-coms I’ve read in ages.
I grabbed this from Amazon “First Reads” for the month of February and am so glad I did.
Thank you to Amazon Prime for my copy.
