Hailey was raised in Cold Creek British Columbia. A quaint, picturesque mountain town known for its striking beauty. And oh yeah…it’s also notorious for a string of unsolved murders of local girls.   

After Hailey’s father dies, she’s taken in by her aunt and her husband, a long-serving member of the local police dept. Hailey can’t ignore the creepy, bad vibe she’s getting from him. So unsettling in fact, she’s starting to believe she may actually be safer taking to the wilderness rather than living under the same roof as him. 

I loved Hailey’s character. Such a courageous, strong young woman whose survival instincts were amazing. And adored her connection with her trusty dog Wolf. 🐶💖 

Chevy Stevens creates a chilling and suspenseful read that’ll keep you engaged throughout.   

I was positive I had this one figured out (a few times in fact) only to be surprised by the end. Just the way I like it!
