Kaceey’s Review:
Award-winning television reporter Lily Atwood has The Perfect Life. A hugely successful career and an adorable daughter she loves more than anything.
When an anonymous source threatens to reveal parts of Lily’s past she’s managed to keep hidden she fears her whole life may be unraveling.
Told from multiple perspectives I had no difficulty following along. But I kept feeling something was missing. I didn’t find Lily very likable and thus lacked the connection I needed. I had to remind myself that Lily was an investigative reporter as she seemed rather gullible at times.🤷🏻♀️
I listened to the audio version and enjoyed the narration.
Hank Phillippi Ryan always adds some great twists to keep you guessing and yes…shock you at the same time.
Looking forward to more from this author.
Thank you to NetGalley and Macmillan Audio 🎧
I’ve got this coming up. Thanks for the warning about the reporter and glad it worked out despite the issues💜

Nice review Kaceey. I also would be surprised to see an investigative reporter be gullible.

Nice review Kaceey. I agree, she seemed pretty gullible and took a lot of chances for someone who was an investigative reporter, but I liked the twists.

I read this one Kaceey and enjoyed it, but I have to agree with you about Lily being gullible, and I didn’t really like her either. ❤📚
